Hundreds of companies\u00a0participated in the Military Friendly \u00ae Employers portion of the 2021 Military Friendly \u00ae\u00a0Companies survey.<\/p>\n<p>Methodology, criteria, and weightings were determined by VIQTORY with input from the Military\u00a0Friendly \u00ae Advisory Council of independent leaders in the higher education and military\u00a0recruitment community. Final ratings were determined by combining an organization\u2019s survey\u00a0score with an assessment of the organization\u2019s ability to meet thresholds for Applicant, New Hire\u00a0Retention, Employee Turnover, and Promotion &amp; Advancement of veterans and military employees.<\/p>\n<p>Keith Dotts, Director of Business Development &amp; Military Programs, who accepted the nomination, said \u201cWe are honored to be recognized by the Military Friendly organization who identifies small businesses that support our Veterans through hiring military service members; either retired, just from active duty, or those in the Guard \/ Reserve.\u201d \u00a0Mr. Dotts went on the describe how Obera has demonstrated growth as a small business that supports veterans as over 65% of our work force are military members. An example is our CEO, Mr. John Richardson served in the United States Marine Corps.
