OBERA organise un événement de team building en Colombie

Obera LLC hosts Team Building BBQ for all employees supporting the Counter Narcotics and Global Threat (CN&GT)  Program in Colombia. The Obera Team in Bogota, Colombia hosted a team building BBQ event in support of its employees who support the  CN&GT program’s Security Cooperation Office (SCO) – Colombia contract.

The team building event consisted of an awards ceremony, a program review for all employees,  and discussions on the upcoming re-compete for the program. Ryan Shaver, Executive Vice President and Bill Smeltzer, Program Manager from Obera Corporate attended and supported this year’s team building event, spoke very highly of the program and its team.  Mr. Shaver said “Our Obera LLC team in Bogota have truly set a new standard with providing mission critical operational sustainment support to the US Security Cooperation Office in Colombia. This team building event is just one small way for Obera to thank our employees for their hard work and dedication.”  In speaking with Mr. Smeltzer who is the Program Manager for this effort in Colombia, he stated that “from our team’s efforts and support to the CN&GT mission, there is a clear reduction with insurgency, terrorism and other forms of international crimes in the country.“ It is clear to all employees that work in support of this mission here in Colombia, Obera takes care of its team. The Country Program manager, Mr. Jose Ayala, is very pleased with the team and all they do in support of this effort to help improve the country as a whole. “By hosting this BBQ, presenting these awards to those that have performed at such a high level, talking about the future of the program, and to see the interaction with our corporate leadership here, this truly helps send the right message that Obera cares for its staff and the mission in Colombia.”

On 29 September 2016 Obera LLC assumed responsibility for providing mission-critical Operational Sustainment Support to the US Security Cooperation Office, Colombia (SCO-CO), to assist the Government of Colombia in reducing and eliminating drug trafficking and Narco-terrorism while strengthening capabilities and increasing professionalism within its military organizations.  To achieve mission success, the Obera Team employs a local national staff of over 180 across a variety of disciplines that include Logistics, Department of Defense (DoD) service-specific mission support, Engineering, Driver Dispatch and Motorpool operations, GPS vehicle fleet services and site security services.  For more information on this successful program and others like this, please visit the Obera LLC website at: www.oberallc.com
